Looking for suggestions on an article of mine.
<..>

Hey everyone! I am Shoukomi, a technologist that manages a cluster of mail servers. I have an article I would like to write about email. From what I've seen over the years, it's an often misunderstood concept. Hence, I would like to write an article about it in the capacity of.. well, a postmaster I guess. Not a very good one, mind you.. this is just what I run for myself, at home. But it is a cluster, and it is all self-hosted using Postfix and Dovecot.

Unfortunately the previous article and its comments have been deleted, but I was able to recollect these notes (attached) from memory. I will tag the people involved below, but I would also like to hear your stories about emails. Have you ever had your email account hacked? Were you ever emailed from your own email address? Were you ever tricked into giving your email credentials on a website that turned out to be fake? Let me know! I would love to include it in my article, and offer you an analysis.

Please do mention whether I can quote your comments verbatim or not. I place great importance on data sovereignty, and would like you to be in control of what I do and don't quote. Afterwards, you can also ask for amends or deletion. While I own the article, you own your quoted text. It is my responsibility to honour those boundaries.

Aside from the attached screenshot, you can also find the notes themselves at https://nixmagic.com/posts/2024-09-23_Email (please copy into a regular web browser). It is currently unlisted from the index, but you should be able to visit it using that link.
